In this role, you will be responsible for installing, customizing, and troubleshooting a wide range of automotive electrical systems, with a focus on enhancing vehicle functionality and aesthetics. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative vehicle upgrades, including audio systems, lighting, security features, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Duties Install and wire 12-volt electrical components such as audio systems, lighting, alarms, cameras, and ADAS equipment following detailed schematics and manufacturer specifications Customize vehicles by integrating aftermarket accessories and ensuring seamless operation within existing electrical systems Diagnose electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and resolve problems efficiently Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including powertrain checks, alignments, transmissions, and general automotive repair as needed Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete installations with precision Conduct quality inspections to verify proper functioning of installed systems and ensure compliance with safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in dealership or automotive service environments with a focus on automotive electrical systems and customizations Strong knowledge of ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and automotive diagnostics Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair techniques Familiarity with vehicle alignment procedures and auto estimating processes Service technician experience with a track record of delivering excellent customer service Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using automotive diagnostic tools effectively Excellent mechanical skills combined with attention to detail and safety protocols
