JOB SUMMARY
Performs any combination of various tasks such as cutting wood, carpet, installing wheels and tires, wiring and wiring systems, lights, trim, etc. to insure proper assembly of the finished product of carbon steel trailers.
JOB DUTIES
  • Will be required to use utility knife, air-powered impacts, drills, screwdrivers, grinders, mini-saws, staplers, and various hand tools to install necessary parts
  • Work effectively in first assembly and bunk area
  • Bunk area consists of cutting wood to proper length and carpeting bunk boards and side boards for trailers
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order
  • Committed to making a quality product
  • Communicate any issues with Assembly Lead to verify with Engineering
  • Keep work area clean
  • Any other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to perform walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling for 10+ hours a day Work overtime as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in heat Ability to work around dust, chemical, and fiberglass particles Manual dexterity Use of air powered hand tools for 10+ hours per day Good coordination Have good quality habits Have good attendance habits Ability to follow instructions accurately
