Duties Install, remove, and replace engines and transmissions in various vehicle types with accuracy and efficiency Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, assemble, and secure engine components according to manufacturer specifications Conduct thorough inspections of engines and transmissions to identify issues or potential improvements Utilize specialized equipment such as ohmmeters to test electrical connections and ensure proper functionality Follow safety protocols diligently while working in confined spaces or around heavy machinery Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and optimize installation procedures Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in engine and transmission installation or repair Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and diagnostic tools Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills Prior experience working in automotive repair shops or similar environments is preferred but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey where your technical skills make a real impact!
