division is currently seeking a Core Coil Assembler- 2nd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Monday
- Friday, 2:00 p.m.
- 10:30 p.

- Retirement benefis, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement and more! ## What you'll do: The Core Coil Assembler uses defined procedures, bill of materials, and equipment to assemble various sizes of transformers and related sub-assemblies, rework damaged/ defective components, and complete assemblies. In this function, you will:
- Execute tasks across various centers, including bake oven, coil hot press, core/clamp, Turn-to-Turn (T.T.R) testing/hookup, low voltage welding/finishing, lead press, and stacking.
- Assemble transformer cores and related sub-assemblies by adhering to customer specifications, blueprints, bills of material, visual operating procedures, standardized procedures, and prescribed methods (NFOI).
- Load cores and coils onto the stacking line and stack the core around the legs of the coils.
- Stack units onto pallets, ensuring alignment with corresponding order numbers.
- Label units with order numbers and apply steel banding straps to secure the assembly.
- Build sub-assemblies per OPS and quality standards required for final assembly, utilizing calibrated tools.
- Operate a TIG welder to weld low voltage leads and crossovers, and follow low voltage and high voltage hookup diagrams to complete all assembly connections.
- Test each finished unit for proper ratio and secure connections using a TTR Tester, troubleshooting any issues identified during the testing phase.
- Perform rework on damaged or defective component parts/complete assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Transport racks of finished assemblies to designated storage areas using a work saver.
- Identify and scan units based on the shipping schedule to generate data for oven loading sequences.
- Weld lead assemblies as required for future orders, using scheduling documents and bills of materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Utilize various manual and power-operated hand tools and heavy machinery, including forklifts, screw guns, air ratchet tools, welding machines, hand crimp tools, hammers, pallet jacks, hydraulic presses, air crimp tools, electric/air hoists, multi-lam cutting machines, single lead cutting machines, and powered industrial trucks.
- Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility.
- Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
