Full-Time About Us Bayatronics Inc is a Richardson, TX-based electronics manufacturer specializing in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) for a range of industries. We're growing our production team and looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join us. Position Summary The PCBA Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly, inspection, and rework of printed circuit boards according to engineering specifications, IPC standards, and customer requirements. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and reliability of the products we build. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform through-hole and/or surface-mount component assembly on PCBs
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Solder, rework, and touch up components using hand tools and soldering irons
  • Inspect assembled boards for defects, using visual inspection and/or magnification tools
  • Maintain accurate production records and report discrepancies
  • Follow ESD (electrostatic discharge) handling procedures and safety protocols
  • Meet daily production and quality targets
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing preferred
  • IPC-A-610 and/or
J-STD-001
certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to solder to IPC standards
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings
  • Comfortable using microscopes/magnifiers for fine detail work
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Manual dexterity for fine assembly work
Pay:
$17.10 - $20.00 per hour
