Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I - Cell Phone Repair to join our manufacturing team. This entry-level position involves assembling, repairing, and testing cell phone components with precision and care. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and familiarity with small electronic components to ensure high-quality assembly standards. Duties Assemble cell phone components using surface mount technology (SMT) and other assembly techniques, ensuring adherence to detailed schematics and IPC 610 standards. Perform soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) utilizing appropriate hand tools, soldering equipment, and surface-mount technology processes. Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to accurately build and repair electronic devices. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify component placement, electrical connections, and circuit integrity. Conduct quality inspections of assembled units, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Utilize power tools and mechanical hand tools for mechanical assembly or disassembly of device casings and internal components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols related to electrical wiring and machining processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during assembly or repair processes, applying electrical experience as needed. Assist in the calibration of testing equipment and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery used in assembly. Experience Prior experience working with PCB assembly, soldering, or electronic component installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly techniques. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is advantageous. Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT), power tools, hand tools, calipers, and ohmmeters is beneficial. Mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail is essential for success in this role. Experience working in manufacturing or electronics assembly environments is a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately are important for collaboration within the team.
