We are Dover Precision Components, #LifeAtDPCSummary The assembler puts together various products such as service equipment, reading detailed instructions to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.Essential Duties:
Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process Taking precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications Align material and put together parts to build more complex units Check output to ensure highest quality Maintain equipment in good condition Qualifications Education Preferred- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Experience One year minimum manufacturing experience.
- 7 times per 8-hour shift Standing and Walking Ability to stand for extended periods (8
- 12 hours) Frequent walking throughout the floor to clean, allocate, receive, pack /unpack materials and parts Bending, Stooping, and Reaching Regularly need to bend, twist, kneel, or squat Frequently reaching above the shoulders or below the waist Manual Dexterity and Hand-Eye Coordination Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands, such as assembling small parts, packing, or sorting Use of small hand tools, requiring fine motor skills Vision and Hearing Visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) to read labels, gauges, blueprints, or assembly instructions Work Environment Tolerance for light noise, dust, light, and light soldering smoke Exposure to moving mechanical parts (Must be able to wear PPE•Steel-toed Shoes, Safety Glasses, protective gloves, and Electrostatic Control Coat Equal Opportunity Employer FW Murphy Production Controls provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
