Job Description

Aircraft Inspector (MRO / Repair Station) We're looking for an experienced Aircraft Inspector to join our team. In this role, you'll inspect commercial aircraft during maintenance, repair, and overhaul to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company quality standards. You'll verify completed work, identify discrepancies, and help ensure each aircraft is safe and airworthy before returning to service.

Required What You'll Do Perform inspections using customer-provided work instructions Accept or reject completed maintenance and non-routine work Inspect aircraft systems and components using specialized tools Review and audit maintenance records and work packages Complete and sign off airworthiness releases in logbooks Perform weight and balance calculations Document inspection results and discrepancies Support facility inspections and quality assurance processes Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Track work through OJT documentation for training purposes Complete required training and support additional tasks as needed Basic Requirements High School Diploma or GED FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification Minimum of 5 years of heavy commercial and/or military maintenance experience OR 6 months as a Skill Level 3 mechanic Training documented on at least 3 commercial aircraft types Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience GenFAM training on at least one of the following aircraft:
B737NG / B737 MAX B747-400 / B747-8 B757 B777 B787
Preferred Experience Strong understanding of: Aircraft manuals and technical documentation ATA codes and applicable FARs Maintenance paperwork (job cards, SRMs, service bulletins, etc.) Hands-on experience with: Hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine components Flight controls and landing gear systems Tire, brake, and component replacement procedures Troubleshooting and basic system servicing Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent movement throughout aircraft areas Standing for most of the shift (up to 90%) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Comfortable working in physically demanding and fast-paced conditions Ability to stay focused under pressure Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k)
