  • Temp-to-hire KP Staffing in Houston is now hiring an assembler for a pipe company in the Stafford area!
Company Overview This company is a global leader in mechanical pipe joining solutions. Incredible temp-to-hire opportunity with great company benefits once hired! Job Summary Perform in-process inspections, including dimensional, orientation, and part Perform additional inspections of product specifications if needed Maintain records of inspections and results if applicable Verify finished products meet and or exceed our customers' standards Verify tools are in safe working condition, as well as that calibration is up to date Know and understand how to properly navigate Medix per job/spool Complete all daily checklists and TPMs Ensure all area duties are getting completed Communicate and interact with Line Leads, shift supervisors, operations manager, and engineering on issues or discrepancies found between drawings/models and BOM Shift 7 a.m.

  • Friday Pay $18
  • $22 per hour Job Details Health, vision, and dental insurance are offered after two full months of work Ability to read tape measure, and measuring tools (caliper, micrometers, vernier scale) preferred Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints desired Experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment is preferred Clean background required and ability to pass a drug screen and E-Verify High School Diploma or GED Be able to lift/push/carry a minimum of 50 lbs Sit, stand, and walk alternating up to 8 hours at a time Assemblers with pipe fitting experience Experience with SWI/SOP processes Questions?
