D-tect, a VPI Technology Group (VPI) subsidiary, seeks a highly motivated entry-level individual to join our skilled manufacturing team. This position will reside full-time at our location in Draper, Utah. Position will be on a 9/80 schedule, working M-Th 7:30-5 and every other Friday from 7:30-4.Wage:
$17.75 hourly with benefits.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must be a US citizen (government contract requirement) Manufacturing assembly experience preferred Previous soldering experience a plus Great attention to detail Manual dexterity, fine motor controls, and strong hand-eye coordination Be able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently Strong interpersonal/communication skills Self-motivation to complete daily production goals High degree of professionalism and maturity with ability to work independently Ability to adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events Exercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and proceduresJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with procedures, job travelers, and instructions Ensure that any special requirements documented on each specific job traveler are implemented Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures Assure that all paperwork is properly signed for accountability Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations WHY VPI?
