1990 Overview Tekberry is seeking an Assembler & Test Technician to support a global leader in precision motion control and advanced manufacturing technologies. This role supports assembly and testing operations for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience working from technical documentation, and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose assembly or test-related issues while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Production Operations Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, and cleaning devices Work from engineering drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and technical documentation Perform assembly functions on hydraulic stands and support setup of AMPS and 151 stages Support repair work and rework activities on production units as needed Testing & Troubleshooting Perform testing activities using defined procedures and established processes Diagnose and troubleshoot units that do not meet test requirements Perform diagnostic rework and corrective actions on non-conforming hardware Maintain understanding of products and systems to support efficient troubleshooting Team Support & Collaboration Positively contribute to team productivity, cooperation, and workflow efficiency Support data collection and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and support teams Maintain a professional attitude and support a strong teamwork environment Documentation & Quality Maintain accurate production and testing documentation Follow internal quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and work instructions Qualifications Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, or production environments Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, worksheets, and parts lists Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electro-mechanical systems Experience working with test equipment and hydraulic stands Experience performing troubleshooting and diagnostic rework Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated production environments Familiarity with production documentation and quality processes Work Environment Manufacturing and production environment Hands-on role requiring use of assembly tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment Collaborative team-oriented environment focused on productivity, quality, and safety May require standing for extended periods and handling mechanical components throughout shift We need hard-working, reliable employees.
