Full-time Main Position Objectives The Mechanical Assembly Technician provides the highest quality work ethic and character for assembling the Maag family of equipment to include: Dryers of all sizes and TWS systems with an emphasis on hitting customer delivery dates. Position description- Tasks, responsibilities, competencies style="list-style-type:disc
- -Assemble dryer rotors and housings using hand tools and power tools by referencing 2D assembly drawings.
- Balance rotors on all size dryers using over head cranes and balancing equipment.
- Build and mount dryer component parts such as agglomerate catchers and pellet diverter valves using hand tools and air tools while referencing 2D assembly drawings .
- Perform leak tests on dryer and tank housings using soap water and air
- Engrave equipment name plates using engraver (or) lazer marker (or) dot peen marker.
- Fills out check sheets while assembling the equipment to ensure the quality of the product meets expectation.
- Put together piping assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Other tasks as assigned by manager.

- -High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus) Desirable style="list-style-type:disc

- -Worked in other assembly shops/manufacturing locations
