About the Role Join our engineering support team as a Metal Fabrication Specialist, where you will drive operational efficiency by building, repairing, and optimizing critical plant machinery. You will leverage your expertise in advanced welding and precision machining to transform raw materials into high-performance tooling and equipment solutions. Responsibilities Execute complex welding and brazing tasks using MIG, TIG, Stick, GTAW, and SMAW processes to ensure structural integrity of plant assets. Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes and grinders, to fabricate custom parts for continuous improvement initiatives. Interpret and translate technical schematics and blueprints into functional mechanical components. Maintain precise documentation and update technical drawings to reflect equipment modifications and engineering changes. Utilize manual plasma cutting and laser welding technology to achieve high-tolerance fabrication results. Collaborate with the technical department to troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement long-term repair solutions. Qualifications Required Skills Proven proficiency in diverse welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick. Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical blueprints and schematics. Demonstrated experience in manual machining, turning, and grinding operations. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in a technical fabrication environment. Preferred Skills Experience with advanced laser welding systems. Background in industrial maintenance or plant engineering support.
