The successful candidate will assist with building custom equipment from the ground up. The chosen individual will have strong mechanical aptitude, proven hydraulic/pneumatic component knowledge and a great attitude!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assemble components in accordance with work instructions ensuring compliance to quality workmanship standards. Complete work within the prescribed timeframe and in a standardized manner. Install high pressure hydraulic components including hoses, flange pumps, and valves on new, custom equipment. Perform a functional test of equipment ensuring accuracy. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Verify specifications by measuring completed assemblies. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or G.E.D. strongly preferred. Minimum of three years of experience working with hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and assembly processes required. Proven ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner including developing alternative, creative solutions. Proven focus on continuously building knowledge and skills as well as sharing expertise with others. Ability to read engineering drawings required. Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure required. Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts and manlifts required. Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, tactful, and self-directed when faced with tight deadlines and fluid environments required. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English required. Must possess a strong attention to detail and proven ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Available to work overtime when needed to ensure deadlines are meet. Must possess a proven history of being reliable with excellent attendance. Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.NOTE:
