Sign Bonus:
Sign-on bonuses are paid in installments: (a) $1,000 after successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment; (b) remaining balance after successful completion of 180 days. Employment must be active and in good standing on payout dates.- Pay is based on experience in production

1st Shift, Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM
- 2:30 PM What you will accomplish as a Production Assembler at
TAPCO:
Ensuring that customers receive finished products per the sales order. This position assembles, programs, and tests BTS Blinker signs, blinker paddles, RRFB, Beacons, ETO Blinker Signs, and DirecTimes. The position operates within a cell work environment where standardized work, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles are practiced. This position reports to the Production Manager.Position Qualifications:
Assembles custom orders according to engineered-to-order standards and documentation Programs and tests finished products Pack products into wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers using protective padding. Participates in cell changeovers from part to part Performs minor maintenance Solves routine problems Learns Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles and practice them on a daily basis Conducts regular 5S audits and quality audits and checks Shares and supports ideas for improvement in group meetings Participates in group and individual improvement activities with team members, engineering, and management Helps implement and support improvement ideas Communicate with the Cell/Team Leader, Planner, and Management as required Performs other duties as assigned Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities and Experience Electronics- OMS law, AC/DC, Voltage/Amps, solar controls Mechanical ability Able to read, and interpret electronic and mechanical work instructions, drawings, and schematics Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Communication skills
- strong verbal, listening, and written Able to analyze and solve routine problems with a variety of concrete variables in situations where some standardization exists. Computer skills
- Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, testing 1
- 2 years prior relevant experience within the industry Prior experience assembling panels, wire harnesses, and/or other electrical control Prior experience working in a team/cell-based environment Able to lift up to 35 lbs and able to stand for 75% of the day.
