Assembler I

Job Responsibilities:

Fit, align, fasten, and package sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, molded parts into sub-assemblies and complete units. Visually inspect for fit and function. Non-conformities may require disassembly and rework. Test units for electrical continuity and functionality. Package units into corrugated containers with shipping filler and identify with all applicable labels. Work from assembly drawings, process sheets and/or standard work to perform assembly operations in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner. Use required hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments and gauges. Participate in daily workplace organization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Requires ability to work from assembly drawings, process sheets and standard work and may include ability to learn how to operate and make routine adjustments to various machines. Requires the ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
