Hours:
5:00am-1:30pm; 1:30pm-12:00am QPS Employment Group has a great Assembler position available at a company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Reviews job orders (written or verbal).
  • Lays out final assembly components to ensure proper build.
  • Fits structural components to assemblies by building frames (bolted); setting fans, if equipped (bolted—measurements critical); marrying unit (core and tank from Cooling Section to frame and fan assembly); and testing motor/fan (if equipped).
  • Preparing unit for shipping.
  • Inspects product for defects.
  • Cleans and maintains work area (daily).
Assembler Requirements:
  • 1 year of assembly experience required
  • Key skills, abilities and knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand job requirements, shop drawings, and blueprints.
  • Ability to measure build tolerances for proper fit and optimum operation.
  • Knowledge of properties of core materials, structural metals and related materials (OJT).
