Core Assembler

Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our core assembly area, focusing on the construction of industrial radiator cores. This role involves operating a slitting machine, loading spools of various metals, and ensuring smooth operation without jams. You will work collaboratively in teams of two to assemble the cores, utilizing a handle to place metal pipes through the core sheathing. Responsibilities Build industrial radiator cores in the core assembly area. Operate a slitting machine and load spools of various metals. Ensure smooth machine operation without jams. Collaborate in teams to assemble cores using metal pipes and core sheathing. Utilize power tools efficiently and safely. Essential Skills Mechanical assembly experience. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with overhead cranes. Proficiency in reading a tape measure. At least 1 year of assembly or machine operation experience. At least 1 year of power tool experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable working in warm environments. Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment. Why Work Here? Pay starts at $21/hr. Work Environment This role operates on the 2nd shift from 1:30 pm to 12 am in an assembly and fabrication shop. The facility specializes in building industrial radiators for warehouses, production facilities, and data centers. While the facility is clean and organized, it is not temperature controlled, becoming warm in the summer, particularly in the core area where soldering is required.
