  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a Painter/Fabricator to perform paint finishing and priming for PAVE, maintain all painting equipment and the paint booth, and ensure safe, high‑quality finishing processes.
This role manages materials, supports fabrication tasks as needed, and upholds strong safety, quality, and communication standards across teams and vendors. Responsibilities Manage painting and priming operations including material procurement, color matching, and meeting project schedules. Maintain painting equipment and the paint booth through cleaning, repairs, filter changes, and preventative maintenance. Ensure proper safety practices by maintaining PPE, storage cabinets, labeling, and a clean, compliant work environment. Oversee inventory and consumables to support continuous finishing operations. Communicate with management, vendors, and customers regarding timelines, specifications, and outsourced powder coating needs. Select appropriate materials and finishing processes based on performance, cost, and application requirements. Support fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, welding, and assembly as workload permits. Requirements Associate degree in Painting/Finishing or related field preferred. 2-4 years of spray‑painting experience or similar manufacturing finishing experience. Hands‑on fabrication experience including cutting, deburring, shearing, bending, assembly, and welding is highly desirable. Knowledge of materials, coatings, and manufacturing processes preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to read manufacturing drawings and interpret finishing specifications. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
