Job Description
Welder Level 1 Position Summary The individual in this position will work as part of our Manufacturing Team to assemble & weld different vehicle products. Ensures that assigned assembly functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures and that quality standards are met or exceeded, and that related documentation is accurate and complete. Foster and promote continuous improvement and work a positive work environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for assembly of subassemblies, purchased, manufactured and finished goods for delivery Communicate effectively/appropriately with team members, leads and supervisors. Rotate to different workstations to achieve a balanced line flow Effectively and accurately use VMI, Kanban cards, material withdrawal forms, stock, fabricated, and special-order parts so inventory counts are correct. Will need to assemble water pumps, foam systems and front bumpers. Weld aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Install PTO's, drivelines, hydraulic hoses and tire chains. Installation of trim and lights. Must build to meet customer spec. and NFPA compliance. Will assist in truck operations to pass third party testing. Must be proficient within 30 days after starting position EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Prefer Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing. Prefer High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1st shift, Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 3:30 PMBenefits
