The Large Assembler is responsible for building parts into complex components, ensuring proper fit and suitability for the final product. All assemblies must be completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and consistently to deliver a high-quality finished product on schedule. This role requires adherence to company procedures and policies while meeting all external customer requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time: Reads and comprehends instructions and drawings to build accurate assemblies using specified components according to schedule demands and established procedures. Selects all materials, components and equipment and organizes to build assemblies in the most efficient, accurate, and timely manner. Measures, counts and records materials and assemblies accurately. Cleans and organizes the work area routinely. Maintains all required work orders, paperwork, records and documentation. Recommends upgrades, repair or replacement of equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation. Assembles all materials and components accurately, on-time and according to company policies and procedures and customer requirements. Ensures production operations are safe, efficient and cost effective. Produces quality goods in an efficient manner that meets PFlow's standard of excellence. Completes forklift and other safety training successfully, operates only equipment for which training has been received, and operates all equipment safely. Works in a safe manner and communicates PFlow's safety culture and follows all company safety rules. Primary focus of all business-related efforts is, and must remain, that of promoting excellence in all PFlow products. Meets attendance requirements and is on time and at work every scheduled day. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Requires basic mechanical assembly knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures. Requires the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely. Requires strong organizational and time management skills, a high degree of detail orientation and accuracy. Requires self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requires the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines while producing accurate and high-quality detail work. Requires the ability to learn and understand the PFlow product line, the interactions between product components and the metal fabrication and assembly process. Requires the ability to complete forklift training and operate forklift equipment safely. Requires good verbal and written communication skills to give and receive information in English. Work Environment The employee works in production environments. He/she may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to indoor and outside weather conditions.
