Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Join our team as an assembler, where you will be tasked with putting together Automatic Safety Doors. This role involves riveting, sheeting, working with very thin stainless steel, and gluing. You will need to be proficient in reading measurements and working in the folded department, which includes adding adhesive to fabric material and folding fabric according to specifications. This position is known for its repetitive and monotonous nature. Responsibilities Assemble Automatic Safety Doors using riveting and sheeting techniques. Work with thin stainless steel and apply glue. Read and interpret measurements accurately. Work in the folded department, adding adhesive to fabric material (bellows) and folding fabric according to specifications. Handle small pieces in the assembly of Polyclutch, requiring patience and attention to multistep processes. Perform assembly repairs involving heavy lifting, grease, and working on cars. Buff and grind components, use power tools, and assemble covers for machines. Collaborate effectively within a team and enjoy taking things apart and rebuilding them. Essential Skills 2+ years of Mechanical Assembly experience. Proficiency in assembly, mechanical assembly, and production. Experience with general labor tasks and using hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and work with precision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Patience and enjoyment of multistep processes. Interest in working on cars and using power tools. Work four days a week with options for either 4x10 Monday through Thursday or 4x9 Monday through Thursday plus 4 hours on Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Berlin, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $33280.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
