Test and Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of parts to determine assembly and testing to be completed
  • Identify, select and install proper tooling/fixtures for operations being performed
  • Intuitively understand capabilities of tooling and machinery
  • Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections
  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs, properly maintain assembly logs to ensure component and heat traceability
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs
  • Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as needed due to workload or a critical need in another area Requirements for
Test and Assembly Technician:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/assembly work preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Prior experience with precision inspection equipment including, but not limited to micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, profilometers preferred
