Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Casper, Wyoming, in their search for Assemblers for a temporary-to-hire position. Assembler Job Responsibilities:
Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Interpret and follow schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Position and align components and parts, manually or with hoists. Use hand tools or machinery to assemble parts. Conduct quality control checks to ensure product integrity. Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools. Prepare work by reviewing parts lists and gathering materials, tools, and subassemblies. Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurement tools. Assemble components by verifying the fit of connections, fastening parts, and subassemblies. Ensure product specifications are met by measuring completed components. Resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions or notifying a supervisor for further assistance. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs when necessary. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety procedures, rules, and regulations. Keep inventory organized by checking stock levels, placing orders, and verifying receipt of supplies. Conserve resources by using tools and materials efficiently to accomplish job results. Document actions by completing production and quality control forms.
Assembler Skills/Qualifications:
Strong mechanical and technical skills. Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small parts and components. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. Electrical experience is a plus. Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay rate: $ 18.00/hr. This is a temporary-to-hire position.
Full-time schedule:
