Overview North Alabama Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy, precision, and a commitment to excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are at the forefront of daily activities. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a safety-first culture, and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities within the plant, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. Enforce safety standards in production environments by implementing best practices for personal protective equipment (PPE) use and adhering to safety regulations. Oversee maintenance of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Manage staffing levels, assign tasks, and foster a team-oriented environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing management or plant operations, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and production processes. Demonstrated knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including PPE use and hazard mitigation strategies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts, and drive operational improvements. Hands-on experience with mechanical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and process optimization is highly desirable. Minimum five years' experience in a manufacturing operations role with three years managerial experience Ability to plan and organize effective and efficiently. Willingness to travel as necessary. Salary commensurate with experience. Experience in secondary aluminum preferred.
