Plant Manager Posted on October 15, 2025 October 15, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Position Responsibilities Operational Leadership and Performance Management Lead and manage all plant operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery objectives. Implement effective operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Team Leadership and Development Supervise, mentor, and develop plant personnel to build a high-performing team. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and performance metrics across departments. Production Planning and Process Optimization Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing practices. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability. Quality and Compliance Management Maintain and improve quality standards to meet customer and industry requirements. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or process issues. Ensure adherence to ISO, OSHA, and other applicable manufacturing standards. Financial and Strategic Management Develop and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans. Track and analyze operational metrics to support strategic decision-making. Partner with senior leadership to align plant operations with organizational goals. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or plant management roles. Proven success leading operations within an industrial, automotive, or heavy manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Lean Six Sigma Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) OSHA or Safety Management Certification What the Role Offers Competitive salary range: $180,000.00 - $250,000.00 Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
