This role champions lean principles, fosters cross-functional communication, and ensures high standards of quality and strategic planning are consistently met.
Compensation:
$105,000 - $115,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Lean Strategy & Continuous Improvement Lead the implementation and sustainability of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping). Identify, analyze, and eliminate workflow bottlenecks to improve throughput and reduce waste. Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. Operational Efficiency Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including cycle time, throughput, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Optimize production workflows to ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with production teams to streamline processes and reduce non-value-added activities. Workflow & Bottleneck Management Conduct regular process audits and value stream analyses to identify constraints. Develop and implement solutions to remove production barriers and improve flow. Partner with engineering and operations teams to redesign processes for scalability and efficiency. Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Integrate quality control measures into lean processes to minimize defects and rework. Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives. Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a key liaison between production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams. Communicate improvement initiatives, progress, and results clearly and effectively. Train and coach team members on lean methodologies and best practices. Planning & Execution Lead strategic planning for continuous improvement projects and operational initiatives. Develop project timelines, resource plans, and measurable goals. Ensure alignment between operational objectives and broader business strategy.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with a focus on lean methodologies. Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing waste. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Lean certification (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred. Core Competencies Process optimization and workflow analysis. Bottleneck identification and resolution.
