Reports To:
Vice President of Operations Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead first-shift manufacturing and packaging operations. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong floor presence who excels in fast-paced environments and drives improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and profitability. The Production Manager oversees daily production activities, manages multiple production lines, develops frontline leaders, and drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business and financial goals. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets Drive performance across KPIs including OTD, OEE, throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, and margin Maintain strong floor presence to resolve issues and improve real-time performance Champion safety, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction) Partner with planning and scheduling to optimize capacity and on-time delivery Build, coach, and develop production supervisors and teams Manage labor planning, overtime, and operational costs Ensure equipment readiness and support preventive maintenance efforts Qualifications•Required 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience Proven success leading multiple production lines and frontline teams Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement Experience managing labor, productivity, and cost controls ERP and production reporting experience Preferred Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field Lean or Six Sigma certification Experience in packaging, food, consumer goods, or high-speed manufacturing All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
