Position Summary The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading customer programs and supervising the Program Coordination function within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role oversees program execution, customer communication, delivery performance, and internal coordination across multiple manufacturing operations. The Senior Program Manager serves as the primary escalation point for customer and operational issues while mentoring and guiding Program Coordinators to ensure consistent execution, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership Lead complex customer programs from quote through production and final delivery Manage customer expectations, schedules, priorities, and escalations Oversee program execution to ensure delivery, quality, and profitability goals are achieved Coordinate engineering changes, schedule adjustments, and production priorities Team Leadership & Mentorship Guide, mentor, and support Program Coordinators Establish team priorities and workload distribution Develop standardized processes and communication practices Train team members on customer management and internal systems Monitor team performance and support professional development initiatives Cross-Functional Operations Coordination Collaborate closely with: Production Engineering Quality Purchasing Shipping Sales Drive accountability and follow-through across departments Lead internal production and program review meetings Customer Relationship Management Serve as the senior customer contact for strategic accounts Resolve customer concerns, delivery challenges, and escalations Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Support business growth opportunities within existing accounts Operational & Financial Oversight Monitor backlog, delivery performance, and overall program status Track program profitability and margin performance Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions Support quoting, forecasting, and capacity planning activities Process Improvement Improve program management systems and workflows Develop KPI reporting and accountability metrics Support ERP/MRP system enhancements and operational improvements Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization Teamwork & Culture Demonstrate and uphold Peak's Core Values and Behavioral Fundamentals in daily activities Exhibit urgency, ownership, and accountability in meeting deadlines while ensuring product quality Take initiative in seeking additional training and professional development opportunities Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality Required Qualifications 7-15+ years of experience in manufacturing program management Strong experience in: CNC machining Plastic fabrication Thermoforming Assembly manufacturing Prior leadership, supervisory, or team mentoring experience Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship management skills ERP/MRP system experience Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working with complex manufacturing programs and strategic customer accounts Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, scheduling, and production workflows Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus Why Join Peak Technology Enterprises?
