POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Manager is overseeing all daily operations of the beverage manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. The Plant Manager leads production, maintenance, quality, safety, and warehouse teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Operations & Production Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, sanitation, and logistics Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency, yield, and throughput targets Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, OEE improvement) Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and line installations Quality, Food Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and local regulations Maintain food safety and quality systems (QMS, HACCP, SQF, BRC, GMPs) Lead audits and corrective action programs Champion a culture of quality and product integrity Safety & Environmental Foster a strong safety culture with zero-incident mindset Ensure compliance with all safety programs and environmental regulations Lead safety training, investigations, and corrective actions People Leadership Directly manage department managers and supervisors Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide coaching Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement Financial & Performance Management Own plant budget, labor costs, and operating expenses Track and improve KPIs (OEE, yield, downtime, scrap, labor efficiency) Identify cost-reduction and productivity opportunities Collaborate with supply chain on inventory and raw material planning Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with R D, Supply Chain, Sales, and Corporate teams Support new product launches and line trials Communicate plant performance and improvement plans to leadership
EQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Window, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operation Management, Food Science, or related filed Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Beverage, food, or consumer packaged goods experience required The ability to build and lead the regulatory and quality functions in a fast paced, high growth, entrepreneurial environment. Thorough understanding of general safety requirements Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action Self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
