Qualifications Delegation Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for the safe and accurate operation of all production equipment and execution of all production work flowing through the Production Department at mPulse Output Solutions (OS). As a member of the OS management team, the Production Manager is responsible for creation and follow through of timelines and understands how to position their team to maximize results. The Production Manager demonstrates an astute understanding of OS company goals and is clear about how they can best position themself and their team for success. The Production Manager directly manages, trains, and oversees up to twenty employees. The Production Manager provides leadership to their team by assisting in the distribution and delegation of workloads and providing support to ensure that the team meets production goals. This position is a security role and will be given access to mPulse's System and network and thus is responsible for ensuring proprietary and PHI information remain protected in digital and hardcopy form. The Production Manager reports to the Director of Production. Essential Functions Develops strategies to prioritize, organize, and accomplish organizational, department and individual goals. Trains and continuously develops new and current production employees. Continually provides leadership, support, and guidance to team. Reviews monthly performance goals with up to twenty employees. Works closely with Technicians to troubleshoot and make improvements to machines to sustain high output volume levels. Reviews processes and procedures to improve current standards and increase efficiencies. Oversees the daily workflow of the Production Department and organizes staff accordingly. Evaluates and delegates tasks based on the availability of staff and machinery Understands how and when to move resources to meet production goals. Oversees and works closely with the Mail Processing department. Works closely with Production Supervisor to meet daily production goals Demonstrates attention to detail and sense of urgency Leads the quality control (QC) initiative and procedures and guidelines within the department. Uses a scanner and computer to check all jobs into proprietary COS software through the QC Check-In tool. Sets-up, operates, and troubleshoots all machines within the department. Possesses a keen understanding of complex equipment and software. Maximizes equipment capabilities. Troubleshoots detailed machine aspects below the surface of basic equipment operation. Assists with general machine repairs and maintenance and teaches others proper maintenance techniques Leads the department in adapting to increased production volumes within a short timeframe.
