In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing activities. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize supply chain workflows, and foster a culture of innovation and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape manufacturing strategies, implement lean principles, and elevate product quality in a fast-paced environment. Based on our government contracts, US Citizenship is required. Duties Lead and coordinate all aspects of production management to meet daily, weekly, and long-term operational goals. Develop and execute production plans utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to ensure seamless scheduling and resource allocation. Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Monitor supply chain analytics and manage supply chain operations to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Oversee plant management activities including safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain smooth operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions for process enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality control, assembly, and logistics to streamline workflows and improve overall operations management. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements across all manufacturing processes. Manage production planning activities to align capacity with demand forecasts while maintaining high standards of quality. Utilize supply chain management tools to optimize logistics, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms. Extensive knowledge of MRP systems for effective production planning and inventory control. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong background in supply chain analytics, supply chain management, and operations management to enhance overall plant performance. Mechanical knowledge coupled with experience in plant management to troubleshoot equipment issues swiftly. Familiarity with quality control standards and practices within manufacturing settings. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
