Job Description

FRC is seeking a Production Manager. This individual will be a highly motivated, talented individual, who will be responsible for directing and training the production team. This position will focus on product specific build schedules to ensure production commitments are met and proper safety and quality measures are upheld. The individual will supervise a team of support staff and production level employees in a manufacturing environment, setting day-to-day activities and leading employee engagement and implementing opportunities to increase production efficiencies. This position will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures all production related items for workstations are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. Assists in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness. Assists in scheduling for workstations so that production schedules are met. Assists in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a workstation to optimize productivity. Coordinates activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of a workstation to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations. Monitors workstation performance and productivity of to maximize throughput. Assists in production innovation, including automated manufacturing, to enhance the workstation's production capabilities. Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production workforce in the Operations environment. Delegate effectively to develop personnel and effectively balance the workload. Address employee issues/concerns and motivate the workforce to achieve department goals. Understand and follow our QMS based on certified standards, such as
ISO9001 & AS-9100D
requirements • Work on special projects assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Strong Lean and Continuous Improvement experience. Proven track record in team leadership roles. Experience working with all levels of management. Ability to work independently, quick learner, strong drive and results driven. Strong communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal.

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
