Job Description

Overview Teton Leather is looking for a well rounded production manager to lead our team into our busiest season yet. We are a rapidly growing, fast paced American manufacturer specializing in highest quality leather goods. Our perfect candidate has at least 5 years of management experience, can confidently lead our team, understands deadlines and logistics, and can think on their feet to quickly problem solve and adjust the sails as needed. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all aspects of the production process to meet quality, safety, and efficiency goals. Supervise production staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure optimal performance. Enforce safety standards in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety protocols. Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Implement process improvements by analyzing workflow data, identifying bottlenecks, and applying lean manufacturing principles. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing management or a related field with strong leadership skills. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to understand machinery operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance needs. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including PPE use and hazard mitigation strategies. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for team coordination and cross-department collaboration.
