Job Description

HR Manager - Manufacturing Cozzini LLC Cozzini Elk Grove Village, IL Description We are looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is essential to the effective operation of our facility and is responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and administration of safety programs. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this position will assist with general administrative support and ensure alignment with corporate HR initiatives and company-wide objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your experience in manufacturing environments to: Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for hourly production and salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, and onboarding Maintain strong working relationships with staffing agencies and recruiting partners Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit and policy-related questions Conduct new hire orientation and support compliance with company policies and employment regulations Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters and workplace concerns Support performance management processes, including reviews, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates within HRIS systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Partner with leadership on initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture Process payroll, review timekeeping records, and prepare HR reports and metrics as needed Assist with company initiatives including audits, training programs, policy implementation, and safety-related programs Support and administer facility safety programs Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned Cozzini, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within union environments or supporting positive union-free workplaces Experience with
ERP/HRIS
systems such as SAP, Oracle, ADP, or similar platforms Familiarity with production labor tracking and payroll processes Bilingual Spanish preferred Salary Description 85-120k before bonus
