Job Description

HR Manager - Manufacturing Operations Cozzini LLC Cozzini Elk Grove Village, IL Description Are you an HR leader who loves the energy of a manufacturing environment? Do you thrive in a visible role where you can champion culture on the plant floor while keeping complex administrative and compliance wheels turning flawlessly? Cozzini, LLC is looking for an HR Manager to run the human resources function for our manufacturing facility. This is a standalone, full-impact role. You will act as the vital bridge between our local team, facility leadership, and corporate HR initiatives—ensuring we attract, retain, and develop the best talent in the industry.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
Build the
Team:
Own full-cycle recruiting for everything from specialized engineers to hourly production staff. You'll manage the funnel from sourcing and onboarding to managing our staffing agency partnerships. Champion the
Culture:
Act as the primary coach and advisor for managers and employees alike. You'll handle employee relations, guide the performance management process, and develop strategies to keep engagement and retention high. Manage the
Fundamentals:
Keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes. You will manage benefits administration, process payroll, audit timekeeping records, and keep our HRIS data perfectly updated. Protect the
Workplace:
Partner with operations to support facility safety programs, manage compliance with labor laws, and lead the rollout of corporate policies, training modules, and HR audits.
What We're Looking For:
Manufacturing Expertise:
Solid, hands-on HR management experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You understand the unique dynamics of an hourly vs. salaried workforce.
Full-Stack HR Capabilities:
Equally comfortable resolving a complex employee relations issue, pulling data metrics for a corporate report, or running a flawless payroll cycle.
Communication & Presence:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within union environments or supporting positive union-free workplaces Experience with
ERP/HRIS
systems such as SAP, Oracle, ADP, or similar platforms Familiarity with production labor tracking and payroll processes Bilingual Spanish preferred Salary Description 85-120k before bonus
