This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving production excellence, operational efficiency, and staff development in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Position Summary As Plant Manager, you will be accountable for the full operational performance of the Harwood Heights plant, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer . You'll oversee key functional areas including Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Shipping, and Process Engineering — ensuring we delight our customers, achieve quality standards, and continuously improve. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing practices, and efficiency gains across the facility.
  • Oversee and develop Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Shipping, and Process Engineering teams.
  • Set and track plant KPIs aligned with corporate objectives; report progress to the COO.
  • Partner with HR on staffing, training, performance evaluations, and team development.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO14001, IATF16949, and company safety and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues through strong problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Support equipment planning, including additions, replacements, and upgrades.
  • APQP responsibilities including PPAP approval, processing work instructions, floor plan layout and Process Flow.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 10 years of progressive plant operations leadership experience in a production/manufacturing environment similar to Adkev. I njection molding (plastics) and automotive industry experience are strongly preferred. Proven track record of strong root cause analysis and problem-solving ability. Deep understanding of production operations, including personnel, tooling, shipping, machinery, and presses. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, team-oriented environment.
