GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. Maintain a regular physical presence on the manufacturing floor to ensure that safety, quality and performance objectives are consistently and effectively implemented. This role drives continuous improvement, maintains high quality standards, and aligns plant performance with overall business objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management Lead all plant operations including production, quality, and logistics Develop plans for the maximum utilization of materials, machines, and employees. Ensure production schedules are met while optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity and quality. Implement and monitor KPIs (throughput, scrap rates, OEE, on-time delivery) Oversee quality standards and processes for all aspects of production Team Leadership Oversee Production Supervisors and provide regular feedback Assist Production Supervisors to ensure employees are properly trained Manage, mentor, and develop supervisors and production staff Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Oversee workforce planning, training, and performance management Collaborate with Human Resources on personnel matters, including hiring, training, disciplinary matters and terminations Adhere to Company policies as described in Employee handbook. Quality & Compliance Ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements Maintain compliance with OSHA, environmental, and industry standards Partner with quality teams to resolve defects and implement corrective actions Regularly monitor operations for compliance with safety standards Continuous Improvement Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar initiatives Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and control costs Lead capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades Financial Oversight Develop and manage plant budget, including labor, materials, and overhead Monitor costs and implement cost-reduction strategies Support forecasting and long-term operational planning Supply Chain & Inventory Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure material availability Optimize inventory levels and warehouse operationsOther Responsibilities:
Regular, reliable on-site attendance is essential for this role. Working 45 hours or more each week as a salaried employee.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred) 7-10+ years of manufacturing experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role Experience in precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial production environments preferred Strong leadership and team development abilities Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment Experience with ERP/MRP systems Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methodologiesLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Associates of the organization. Bilingual preferred - English/Spanish.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY
