$110,000 - $135,000 per year Job Details - We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Plant Manager for our Manufacturing division. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading organization in the industry, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), GFSI (SQF or BRC), and Food Processing. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Plant Manager, you will be responsible for: 1. Overseeing daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times. 2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HACCP, GMP, SQF or BRC, and other food safety standards. 3. Developing and implementing operational strategies and objectives to achieve corporate goals. 4. Supervising, training, and mentoring plant personnel, fostering a team-oriented environment. 5. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction. 6. Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies. 7. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent production quality. 8. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial reports, and forecasts. 9. Ensuring all equipment is maintained and functioning correctly, scheduling repairs and upgrades as necessary. 10. Implementing and managing quality control programs, ensuring products meet required specifications.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Plant Manager position, you must have: 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management within the manufacturing industry. 2. Proven experience with HACCP, GMP, SQF or BRC, and Food Processing. 3. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage. 4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. 5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement. 6. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. 9. Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes. 10.
