Job Purpose EnerSys Delaware Inc.'s Hays, KS, office seeks a Lean Manager to be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies, project management techniques, and problem-solving strategies, tracking results and implementing process improvements to achieve project goals. Implements actions that facilitate improvements to manufacturing operations and processes including productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery, safety, cycle time, inventory levels and other measurable metrics using the EnerSys Operating System, (EOS).Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies, project management techniques, and problem-solving strategies, tracking results and implementing process improvements to achieve project goals. Implements actions that facilitate improvements to manufacturing operations and processes including productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery, safety, cycle time, inventory levels and other measurable metrics using the EnerSys Operating System, (EOS).Qualifications Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Process Improvement, or a related field, plus two (2) years of supervisory or management experience. Duties include: Identifying integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinating improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish project goals. Leading Kaizen events to deliver target improvement. Preparing and adhering to budgets with sound fiscal management qualities. Ensuring compliance with Manufacturing standards including ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and Nuclear NQA-1 requirements; and SAP or similar ERP software systems. Experience can be concurrent.
