Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team, fostering an environment of mutual respect, cooperation, and teamwork. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's overall objectives, ensuring the plant operates efficiently and effectively. Oversee all aspects of Production Planning, ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Manage and optimize Operations Management, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently. Conduct Performance Management, setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and recognizing the achievements of team members. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety procedures. Develop and manage the plant's budget, making necessary adjustments as needed to meet financial objectives. Handle any issues or delays in production in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management role within the manufacturing industry. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Background in overseeing CNC machining operations. Extensive knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles. Strong understanding of Production Planning and Operations Management. Experience in Performance Management and setting performance metrics. Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to make sound business decisions. Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with industry-specific software. Must be willing to relocate.
