Role:

The Lead Role in Manufacturing is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure high-quality output and operational efficiency. This role involves leading a team of manufacturing professionals, coordinating cross-functional activities, and implementing best practices to meet production targets and deadlines. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage resource allocation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. They will serve as a key liaison between management, engineering, and production teams to align manufacturing goals with overall business objectives. Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressive leadership responsibilities. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software tools. Certification such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar credentials. Experience in a specific manufacturing sector relevant to the company's products.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and quality standards. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues. Manage and mentor manufacturing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the manufacturing area. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management. Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Participate in budgeting and resource planning to optimize manufacturing costs.
