Summary:
In this role, you will lead and manage an area of the organization's production equipment and maintenance operations. You will also supervise the production equipment preventive maintenance program.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the production equipment preventive maintenance program Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, to anticipate & solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement Help to supervise line improvement projects and be a technical advisor/supporter to engineers/technicians in critical engineering matters Frequently and consistently communicate with all maintenance engineers and technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure proactive two-way communication concerning maintenance issues Ensure compliance with workplace safety programs Lead and develop all team members for career growth and retention Communicate regularly with headquarters in Korea regarding project statuses, continuous improvement, problem solving and planning Perform negotiation with vendors and contractors thereby maintaining cost effective and high quality service Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the engineers and the technicians Supervise the managements of documents to follow the requirement of
ISO/TS16949
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3
R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience Must be able to speak both Korean and English in professional level.
Experience:
7+ years of related experience 3 to 6+ years of experience leading and managing multiple processes Experience with large production lines and floor management Experience implementing 5S principles preferred Experienced in NFPA 70E, LOTO, and OSHA regulations is strongly preferred
Skills:
Knowledge of battery system or processes a strong plus Proven analytical ability to understand and solve technical issues in a team oriented environment Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation Availability for off-hours calls Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support entire production team MS Office Suite
