Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance activities at a single-shift manufacturing facility in Bruce, Mississippi. This position will lead a team of manufacturing professionals and oversee Manufacturing Engineers and Maintenance Technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing engineering and operations experience, leadership capabilities, and a proven background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, equipment optimization, and capital projects . Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams. Oversee manufacturing operations while ensuring production, quality, safety, and cost objectives are achieved. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements. Provide technical guidance and resolve manufacturing and operational challenges. Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively. Lead capital project planning, investment approvals, equipment run-offs, and plant/facility layout improvements . Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and successful product launches. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and other cross-functional teams. Monitor manufacturing KPIs and use data-driven decision making to improve performance. Promote employee engagement, teamwork, safety, sustainability, and a positive plant culture. Stay current with manufacturing technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering , or a related field. 5+ years of manufacturing/operations experience. 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience. Strong manufacturing engineering and operations background. Ability to work onsite in Bruce, MS . Must have an unrestricted right to work in the United States.

Education alternatives:

Associate's degree + 2 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience, or 4 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience without post-secondary education. Preferred Qualifications Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience. Hands-on knowledge of robotic welding systems and automated fabrication processes . Experience with tube bending, metal fabrication, welding, upholstery, and assembly operations . Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software for equipment, process, and facility layout. Manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in seating or related industries . Capital project planning and equipment run-off experience. Facility/plant layout optimization experience. Familiarity with NPI processes . Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience building team trust, engagement, and a positive plant culture. Data-driven approach to KPI management and decision-making.
