In this vital role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will foster a high-performance environment, optimize manufacturing processes, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production goals efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence operational excellence and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Lead and manage the shop floor team, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and development of staff members. Oversee production scheduling and planning using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP tools to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify process improvements, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Monitor manufacturing operations through data analysis in Excel and supply chain analytics to optimize workflows and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control procedures, and environmental standards across all production activities. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance teams to streamline processes and resolve operational issues swiftly. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance metrics, leading root cause analysis, and applying process improvement techniques. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, including familiarity with manufacturing management systems such as SAP or equivalent ERP platforms. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production scheduling, assembly processes, and plant management practices. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies like Lean management or Six Sigma to enhance operational efficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making support. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and assembly lines is highly desirable. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster cross-functional communication. Ability to analyze complex data sets for supply chain analytics and operational insights; experience with ERP systems is essential.
