This leadership role is responsible for driving plant reliability, optimizing production performance, managing large-scale capital projects, and building high-performing engineering and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, strategic leadership experience, and a proven track record of improving plant performance through world-class maintenance and engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Lead all plant engineering and maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency Direct capital projects from concept through completion while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, food safety, and environmental standards Implement and enhance Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and TPM initiatives to improve overall plant performance Develop and execute strategies to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and increase production efficiency Manage multi-million-dollar CapEx budgets and long-term infrastructure improvement initiatives Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement long-term corrective actions for recurring operational issues Establish and monitor KPIs related to maintenance effectiveness, equipment performance, supplier reliability, and overall operational efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Quality, and HR teams to support plant objectives and continuous improvement initiatives Mentor, coach, and develop engineering and maintenance personnel while fostering a strong culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and performance Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, environmental, and food manufacturing standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Business, or related discipline 10+ years of engineering leadership experience within manufacturing operations Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing teams in a high-volume production environment Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and manufacturing equipment Hands-on experience managing large-scale CapEx projects and maintenance operations Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, predictive maintenance programs, TPM, and work order systems Experience using SAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with occasional extended hours and weekends as needed Why Join This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturing operation where you will have a direct impact on plant performance, operational strategy, and long-term growth.
