Job Description

Description Summary:
Direct and organize the daily operations of Revere South manufacturing using a continuous improvement approach. Position the operation for expansion to meet customer needs. Create an operation's culture that includes strong employee involvement and builds safety as a value into all aspects of operations. Direct and organize production, maintenance, tooling, shipping, and warehousing. Apply behavioral management leadership to create a motivating environment of trust and respect consistent with Revere values.
Requirements Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership for a successful team-based, day-to-day operation. Provide leadership to production, shipping/receiving, production control, maintenance, safety, process engineering, and HR/training functions. Implement and sustain standardized work and leader standard work to strengthen day-to-day manufacturing execution and supervisory effectiveness. Create a strong focus on continuous improvement of operations while applying lean techniques. Apply Revere's behavior-based safety processes. Coach and develop Team Leader direct reports to ensure a high level of effective leadership and communication with employees. Continuously improve operations and processes. Implement a strong maintenance and reliability process. Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals. Work with Rome Production Control to set production schedule and meet customer On Time Delivery expectations. Oversee quality process and ensure customer specifications are achieved. Review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement. Maintain and support a clean and organized workplace. Determine optimal staffing and shift structure as the business grows. Track, monitor, and report out on key business metrics. Communicate with employees on business relevant topics including all timely communication initiatives. Work with a cross-functional team to identify equipment and processes needed to meet market demand opportunities. Support development and execution of the annual business plan, including achievement of production, shipment, yield, quality, safety, and delivery goals. Maintain facility for hosting high-level customer visits.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
7-10 years of production or maintenance experience with progressive levels of supervisory responsibility. 3-5 years of plant management experience Experience leading and implementing Lean manufacturing techniques including pull systems. Education /
Training:
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Special Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. May be exposed to wet or humid conditions. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. May be regularly exposed to high noise environments May be exposed to extremely dusty environments
