Our products are designed and assembled with emphasis on durability, performance, manufacturability, and long-term reliability. As a growing company, our engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, sales, and customer support teams work closely to develop and build lighting systems for a wide range of applications. This is a hands-on, early-career, technical role focused on project execution, manufacturing support, product documentation, testing coordination, and cross-functional communication. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude who is ready to grow into broader product development responsibilities. Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, engineering support, project coordination, or other relevant technical experience is required
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred; equivalent hands-on manufacturing, engineering support, or technical project experience may be considered
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as UL, NEC, CSA, or IES
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, electrical schematics, specifications, or manufacturing documentation
  • Experience with technical equipment such as multimeters, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, or diagnostic tools is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills are required
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Core Responsibilities
  • Manage manufacturing and product development projects from initial concept through production release and implementation
  • Create quantifiable project objectives, milestones, schedules, and associated cost targets
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, priorities, and risks to ensure projects remain on schedule
  • Manage project execution to ensure objectives and customer expectations are achieved
  • Operate as the primary point of contact for assigned projects by communicating status updates and coordinating between internal and external contributors
  • Coordinate activities between Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and Customer Support teams
  • Identify and manage project risks to prevent delays, technical issues, or project dead-ends
  • Research, develop, and implement process improvements to increase project effectiveness and efficiency
  • Assist in developing manufacturing procedures, assembly methods, testing procedures, and production documentation
  • Coordinate product testing, certification activities, and compliance requirements when applicable
  • Communicate with suppliers, laboratories, manufacturers, and equipment vendors via email and phone
  • Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing, product performance, and field-related technical issues
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, BOMs, test reports, and work instructions Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the facility for extended periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials or equipment up to approximately 30 pounds
  • Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and laboratory/testing environments
  • Ability to perform detailed hands-on work involving tools, fixtures, and testing equipment when necessary Schedule & Working Hours
  • On-site, full-time position in Reno, Nevada
  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday during normal business hours
  • Additional time may occasionally be required to support project deadlines, testing activities, or manufacturing schedules
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
