Rising For People Coffee Co. is a women-owned and veteran-owned specialty café and roastery at 121 Vesta St in Midtown Reno. We roast our coffee in Reno, source farm-direct, and give 15% of our weekly profits to a different Northern Nevada nonprofit through our 52 Weeks

• 52 Change Makers program. We are building a team that cares about great coffee, great food, and the community we serve. Overview You will keep our café, roastery, and online store stocked, organized, and running smoothly. This role oversees inventory counts, par levels, ordering, and receiving across coffee, food, packaging, and retail goods. You will coordinate production schedules for roasting, packaging, and prep so that every channel has what it needs on time. You will track waste and costs and work closely with ownership to improve systems. We are looking for someone with at least two years of inventory, production, or operations experience in food service, retail, or manufacturing. You should be highly organized, comfortable with spreadsheets and POS systems, and confident leading others. Experience with Toast or Shopify is a plus. Duties Oversee daily production activities, ensuring manufacturing schedules are met efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and implement production plans using ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on priorities. Monitor inventory levels through

SAP, MRP

(Material Requirements Planning), and Excel data analysis to prevent shortages or excess stock. Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process improvement strategies to enhance productivity. Manage supply chain logistics by analyzing supply chain data, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials. Supervise production management systems and plant operations, including assembly lines and mechanical processes, to maximize efficiency. Foster a culture of safety, quality control, and teamwork by providing clear direction, coaching staff, and promoting lean management practices. Qualifications Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of manufacturing management systems. Proficiency in

SAP, ERP

systems, MRP software, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across departments including operations, quality control, supply chain, and engineering. Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly processes is highly desirable. Ability to analyze complex supply chain data and implement strategic solutions for continuous improvement.
