In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire jewelry production process, ensuring that craftsmanship, quality, and efficiency are maintained at the highest standards. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize workflows, and foster a collaborative environment that inspires excellence. Responsibilities Manage daily jewelry production activities, coordinating assembly, finishing, and quality control processes to meet production targets. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to plan production schedules, monitor inventory levels, and streamline supply chain operations. Oversee supply chain management and analytics to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components necessary for manufacturing. Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and applying best practices in manufacturing. Maintain rigorous quality control standards by inspecting finished products and implementing corrective actions as needed. Supervise a team of artisans, technicians, and support staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated workforce. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production planning, inventory management, and continuous improvement projects to optimize overall plant operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold workplace safety standards across all manufacturing areas. Experience Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in jewelry or related industries involving assembly processes. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement techniques to enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with supply chain management principles, including logistics analytics and inventory control strategies. Mechanical knowledge related to jewelry assembly equipment or manufacturing machinery is advantageous. Experience in plant management or operations management roles with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
